Use your high early mobility and cooldown sequencing to pressure Cho'Gath and deny his scaling.
Your goal is to snowball lane by forcing short trades and punishing Cho'Gath's predictable cooldowns.
Maintain a flexible wave state that lets you dash in and out to threaten lethal combos post-level 6.

Trading pattern

Start trades when Cho'Gath's and are down to avoid knockup and silence.
Use shield to absorb damage, chain and for stun and knockup.
Disengage before your mobility cooldowns expire to prevent being punished by Cho'Gath's crowd control or sustained damage.

Danger windows

Respect Cho'Gath's knockup and silence combo when both are available.
Avoid extended trades after you expend and as your defense and mobility drop.
