This mid matchup is a control vs snowball duel where you punish Riven's cooldown windows to prevent her lead.
Use poke and hold and for counter-engage to deny her all-ins.
Manage wave control to create roam timers and avoid extended trades that favor Riven's burst combos.

Trading pattern

Use from max range to poke, saving and to punish Riven's forward dashes.
Avoid extended trades if and are down to prevent getting locked down by her stun and knockup.
